At The Candid Progressive, political correctness and cultural relativism don't get the sort of respect they generally receive in the progressive community. 

In fact, on this site, those sissy-boy conventions regularly get their asses kicked and their lunch money stolen by Honesty and Common Sense  --  which tend to run wild around here, like a couple of bold little hoodlums. 

My apologies, in advance, to any devout believers, faint-hearted liberals, or culturally-sensitive types who might wander onto this site and find their religion mocked and/or their PC sensibilities shocked.  But the thing is, some issues that really need to be addressed cannot be discussed without a little taboo-busting taking place.  Which is why this site is not called "The Progressive."
